Roulette Bets & Payouts

Play Roulette at Rushmore Online Casino - Get $888 Free BonusRoulette is one of the most intriguing games of any casino, commonly associated with the most upper-class bettors. However, while the aristocratic atmosphere of Roulette tends to sway the average bettor away from the live tables, the introduction of online casino roulette has changed all of that.

Now days, anyone can play Roulette online without any emotional disruption (aside from the occasional win/loss). If you’d like to become one of these Roulette fans, you’d be wise to understand the monetary ways of the game. Below you will find all Roulette Bets and Payouts to help you on your path to Roulette profits.

Roulette Bets & Payouts
There are two betting categories in Roulette, Inside Bets and Outside Bets. Inside Bets pay very well, but have lower odds of hitting, while Outside Bets have great odds, but lower value.

Roulette Bets & Payouts - Inside Bets

Straight Bet [35:1] To place a bet on a single number. Straight Bets pay 35 to 1.

Split Bet [17:1] To place a single bet on two adjacent. Split Bets pay 17 to 1.

Street Bet [11:1] To place a single bet on a row of 3 numbers (i.e. 1-2-3). Steer Bets pay 11 to 1.

Square Bet [8:1] To place a single bet on 4 intersecting numbers (i.e. 1-2-4-5). Square Bets pay 8 to 1.

Line Bet [5:1] To place a single bet on 6 numbers in two adjacent rows of 3 (i.e. 1-2-3-4-5-6). Line Bets pay 5 to 1.

Roulette Bets & Payouts - Outside Bets

1st-12 [2:1] To place a bet on the first set of one-dozen numbers (1 through 12). 1st-12 Bets pay 2 to 1.

2nd-12 [2:1] To place a bet on the second set of one-dozen numbers (13 through 24). 2nd-12 Bets pay 2 to 1.

3rd-12 [2:1] To place a bet on the third set of one-dozen numbers (25 through 36). 3rd-12 Bets pay 2 to 1.

Column Bet [2:1] To place a bet any one column of numbers, running the length of the table (i.e. 1-4-7-10-13-16-19-22-25-28-31-34). Column Bets pay 2 to 1.

High/Low [1:1] To place a bet that the outcome will be a Low Number (1-18) or a High Number (19-36). High/Low Bets pay even odds of 1 to 1.

Red/Black [1:1] To place a bet that the outcome will be a Red or Black Number. Red/Black Bets pay even odds of 1 to 1.

Odd/Even [1:1] To place a bet that the outcome will be an Odd or Even Number. Odd/Even Bets pay even odds of 1 to 1.

Roulette Bets & Payouts – 0 and 00 [35:1]
The 0 (Zero) & 00 (Double Zero) are found on American Roulette tables, while only the single 0 (Zero) is depicted on European Roulette tables. For this reason, most Roulette players choose to play European Roulette. It offers the player a slightly (and I do mean slightly) lower house edge on all other bets.

The Zeros do not win on any other bet. For example, betting on Even will not win if 0 hits.

Betting on 0/00 pays the same as a Straight Bet, 35 to 1. In American roulette, it is possible to bet on both 0 and 00 at the same time, just like a Split Bet, paying 17 to 1.

It is also possible to place a Line Bet on the 0 (and 00 in American Roulette), 1, 2 and 3 intersection. However, this is considered the worst bet in roulette since you only get 4 or 5 numbers instead of the usual 6, and it pays the same odds of 5 to 1.
