Roulette Strategy
The best way to create a roulette strategy is to focus on awareness. Unlike other games, it's hard to create a roulette strategy to win systematically at roulette. There are, however, some solid roulette tips that you can follow in order to increase your chances of winning.
The first and most important roulette tip is this: don't play to win every time the wheel spins. It won't work. High odd bet? Go for it. Betting the same thing every time despite the conditions is not a good idea. Roulette is a game of chance. No spin has a higher chance of winning than the one before it or after it.
Your goal should be to minimize your losses and increase your winning odds rather than trying to win every time the ball drops. If, for example, the ball has landed on red for the past five spins, the odds are higher that it will land on black on the next one – statistically speaking. However, the roulette wheel doesn't take statistics into consideration.
The game's outcome is always a gamble; hence the name.
The second tip is the same one you can apply to every game strategy, gambling or not: take a good hard look at how your opponent is playing, what they do to guarantee a win. In this way, you can structure a play strategy that combats them directly and takes the stakes of each turn of the wheel into consideration as secondary.
With this concept in mind, let's consider for a moment how the casino plays to win.
-The casino will take notice of someone who has a high number of winning spins at the roulette table. Players who get noticed are players who get shut down.
-The casino is watching you. Do you lack self control? Are you greedy, betting more and more with each win rather than knowing when to cut your losses and walk away? Are you stubborn and continue to bet in the face of a hardcore losing streak? Their focus is you, not the roulette wheel, and they will play off your weaknesses.
-Keeping you at the table increases the chance of your hitting a losing streak. Even if you're winning now, chances are, you won't be for long.
No matter what you do and how hard you examine your competition, when your opponent is the casino, the odds will always be against you. The best roulette tip of all is to set limits for yourself, stick to them, leave when you're ahead, and leave if you're behind. The house has the advantage in every situation.
This is a game to you, but a business to them. Never forget that. No one outsmarts the house.
